Day 1 : Marrakech to Ait Bougemez valley 

Embark from Marrakech in the morning via 4×4 or minivan, traversing the High Atlas Mountain range to explore the renowned Ouzoud waterfalls. Journey to Azilal, enjoying lunch in a local restaurant. After, a brief drive leads to the heart of the Atlas Mountains, crossing Tizi n Tirghist mountain pass (2600m) with a stunning view of Mount Mgoun and the Ait Bougemez valley. Finally, arrive at the guesthouse for the night. Savor a welcoming mint tea at the Gite and take a short hike to the granary of Sidi Moussa . The day involves 5 hours of driving and a 1-hour walk.

Day 2 : Ait Bougeumez valley family hike

Post-breakfast, stroll through Timite village to apple tree, grain, vegetable, and alfalfa terraces, reaching Ibaqlliouen. Explore dinosaur prints, take a tea break at a family house, and continue walking along the valley. After a lunch stop under walnut trees, return to the Gite for the night. A 5-hour walking adventure rich in village exploration and natural beauty.

Day 3 : Ait Bougeumez valley to Marrakech

After breakfast, gear up for a hike up a small mountain peak at 2500m, offering a marvelous view of the valley. Traverse the juniper tree forest, home to summer-dwelling seminomads. Descend to Anssouss for lunch and spend the afternoon strolling to the guesthouse.

Day 4 : Ait Bougeumez valley – family hike Atlas Mountains

Ensure a safe drive back to Marrakech with your guide, making a stop at the site of Imin n Ifri natural bridge. Enjoy a brief walk and explore the natural beauty. Pause for lunch at a local restaurant before driving through the city of Demnat en route to Marrakech, where the family trip concludes. A 4-hour drive filled with scenic stops and cultural exploration.
