Ait Bougeumez valley hiking itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech to Arous
Depart from Marrakech in the morning and drive to Arous via Azilal. The journey takes approximately 4-5 hours. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation and familiarize yourself with the village. Spend the rest of the day exploring Arous and its surroundings. Overnight in Arous at a local Gite (homestay / guesthouse).
Day 2: Arous to Ikis-n-Arous and back
After breakfast, start your hike from Arous to Ikis-n-Arous. This trek will take you through terraced fields, traditional summer village of Arous, and scenic landscapes. Arrive in Ikis-n-Arous and explore the village, enjoy a freshly made lunch by our trekking cook. Comeback to Arous for the night in Gite.
Day 3: Arous to Ait Imi
Hike from Arous to Ait Imi. This route passes through various terrains and offers picturesque views. Upon reaching Ait Imi old village, check into your accommodation and explore the village. Overnight in Ait Imi.
Day 4: Ait Imi to Ikhf-n-Ighir
Depart from Ait Imi and hike to Ikhf-n-Ighir. This trek includes diverse landscapes and views. Arrive in Ikhf-n-Ighir, check into your accommodation, and explore the village. Overnight in Ikhf-n-Ighir.
Day 5: Ikhf-n-Ighir to Timite
Hike from Ikhf-n-Ighir to Timite. The trail offers a range of scenic vistas and experiences. Upon arrival in Timite, check into your accommodation and explore the village. Overnight in Timite.
Day 6: Timite to Marrakech
