 4 days Atlas Mountains trekking itinerary 

Day 1 : Marrakech to Agersioual – Morocco Atlas Mountains hiking trails

You will be picked up by your guide and driver. You will enjoy a ride in a 4×4/Minivan drive to Agersioual (1600m). Start your trekking adventure in Morocco over the pass (1900m) and head down into the Imnan Valley. You’ll be surrounded by stunning mountain scenery. After a day of trekking, you’ll arrive in Tinghrin village. You’ll spend the night in a cozy local guesthouse (homestay). This offers an authentic glimpse into rural Berber life.

Day 2 : Tinghrine to Armed – Atlas Mountains trekking

Your second day will involve a challenging yet rewarding hike over the Tizi n Tamatert pass (2300m) as part of your Atlas Mountains trekking adventure. This high mountain pass offers panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and peaks. After crossing the pass, you’ll descend into the village of Armed, located in the Imlil area. In the evening, you’ll stay in a guesthouse in Armed. You can enjoy the serene atmosphere there. You will also experience the hospitality of the local Berber community.

Day 3 : Armed to Tizi Oussem – Atlas Mountains hiking guide 

After breakfast today, you’ll begin your trek in the Atlas Mountains along one of the best Morocco hiking trails. You’ll cross the Tizi Mzik mountain pass, reaching an elevation of 2,500 meters. Enjoy a scenic lunch break at this high vantage point. Then, descend into the Azzaden Valley. Spend the night in a cozy guesthouse in Tizi Oussem, where dinner will also be provided.

Day 4 : Tizi Oussem to Marrakech – Morocco hiking trails

After breakfast, you’ll depart from the Gîte. You will trek through several Berber villages. You will cross the Tizi n Oudit pass at 2,219 meters. After lunch, we’ll descend to Agersioual to meet our driver. From there, we’ll travel to Marrakech, marking the end of your 4-day Atlas mountains trekking Morocco.
